Driftwood Interiors is the home of original hand-painted wall art and fine art prints.
Our watercolor paintings let you you tell your own personal story, making your house feel like home. We create every artwork by hand and then print and frame to order right here in Australia.
Hi, I’m Kerri Shipp and I’m the artist behind the brand, Driftwood Interiors. My collection of wall art prints was born out of frustration; at the time, the only options were expensive original works, or cheap mass-produced pieces. I wanted fine art prints that were unique and beautiful, yet didn't break the bank. So I created my own. My work has been featured in Martha Stewart Living, New York Spaces, House & Garden and Home Beautiful to name a few.
I have a love of all things Australian - our beautiful wildlife, our unique plants & flowers, the colours of our landscape and our stunning beaches. I work from my rural studio on the outskirts of Brisbane, Queensland, taking inspiration from the natural world. Collections of feathers, shells and driftwood inspire many of my paintings, and I gather them wherever I travel. The beach is a favourite place; flotsam and jetsom washed ashore, seaweed strewn along the shoreline and the amazing colours that change with the seasons combine to inspire my work.
Each and every design is hand-painted before printing onto heavy watercolour paper with high-quality, archival inks.
This way, each print retains its painterly charm, with all the natural textures and variations of the original painting. My design philosophy is an eclectic mix of old and new, vintage and modern. My artwork is modern yet nostalgic, collected rather than mass-produced.
Our fine art prints all start as original watercolour paintings, created in the old-fashioned way – with paint and paper, ink and brush. There are no AI-generated images here. We’re committed to producing high quality yet accessible wall art, and by using only the best fine art paper and archival inks, we’ve created a range of beautiful pieces that will stand the test of time.
At Driftwood Interiors, we believe that, just as your wardrobe reflects your personal style, so should your home. Bring your home to life with artwork that reflects who you truly are.
