Shipping & Delivery

We're more than happy to help when it comes to choosing the perfect artwork for your home. We've compiled a list of the most commonly asked questions for you below, but if your question isn't answered here, please feel free to get in touch and we'd be only too happy to explain things for you.

 

WHERE DO YOU SHIP TO?

We've sent thousands of prints around the world, and we ship nearly everywhere! We only ship unframed prints internationally, as it's much more cost-effective to arrange framing locally. 

 

HOW IS MY PRINT SHIPPED?

All of our unframed prints are carefully packaged in a cello sleeve, and shipped in a sturdy flat mailer or mailing tube, depending on the print size. Framed prints are securely packaged and shipped in a cardboard carton. We're proud to say that most unframed print orders are shipped within 24 hours, although this may not be possible during busy periods so please bear this in mind. Framed artworks are all custom printed to order, and take around 7-10 days to complete.

 

HOW LONG DOES SHIPPING TAKE?

Delivery times may vary, depending upon location and can change without notice, e.g. during Christmas and holiday seasons. But here are some general guidelines:

 

AUSTRALIAN ORDERS

We offer FREE REGULAR SHIPPING on all Australian orders, via Australia Post or courier*. You also have the option of either Express Post (next business day to most metropolitan areas), or Registered Post for unframed print orders. Please choose which option you prefer at checkout - you'll see the option to enter your shipping details and the available shipping options will be shown.

Please allow up to 10 working days for Australian orders via regular post.

Express post orders (unframed prints) are delivered next business day* to metro areas within the Express Post network. Please see this document for more information and Covid delivery times.

*Delivery of framed artwork to regional areas will incur additional fees to frame prints using acrylic rather than glass. Some delivery areas are not covered by our courier partners, so if you are a rural customer please contact us prior to ordering to ensure we ship framed prints to your area. We deliver framed artwork by Fastway Couriers and any areas not covered by their delivery network need to be onforwarded to a local courier company. This double handling often results in glass being broken, so for that reason we must insist on acrylic. We will contact you with details of the additional cost after your order is received. As a guide, Large framed prints incur an additional fee of $55 for acrylic per print. Areas which require onforwarding may also incur additional delivery charges - please email prior to ordering for more information*

  

INTERNATIONAL ORDERS

International delivery times will vary depending on location and shipping method, but you should expect:

  • Regular international post in around 20 business days (sometimes longer depending on the country and during holiday periods),
  • Registered Post International in around 7-10 business days.

It can take up to 35 business days for international orders to arrive in some countries, depending on location and shipping method chosen. Please notify us as soon as possible if your order does not arrive within this timeframe and we'll look into it for you. However, please note that regular international post does not provide any tracking information, and we are unable to track international orders shipped using this method. As such, we cannot refund or replace missing shipments sent this way. We highly recommend Registered Post International, which means your order arrives as quickly and safely as possible, as well as providing tracking for your peace of mind. 

 

I DON'T LIVE IN AUSTRALIA - WILL I BE CHARGED ADDITIONAL CUSTOMS DUTIES OR IMPORT FEES?

Not all countries charge customs/import duties, but it is possible you will be charged a fee. Please be aware that each country has its own rules regarding customs/duties/taxes, and these charges are not covered by Driftwood Interiors. If you’re unsure whether these apply, please check with your local postal service prior to placing your order.

If you need your items sooner please contact us before placing your order and we’ll do our best to help.

 

TRACKING YOUR ORDER

Please note that regular shipping does not include tracking. If you require tracking and/or insurance, please choose either our Express Post (Australian customers) or Registered Post International (customers outside of Australia) options at checkout. 

 

WHAT IF MY ORDER IS DAMAGED? WHAT CAN I DO?

We want you to love your new artwork, so if there's a problem and your print is damaged in transit, then of course we'll replace it for you at no additional cost. We take great pride in our work and we package our artwork as securely as we can, but sometimes damage can happen in transit. Please contact us within 24 hours for all damage claims, and send through photos of the issue.

Free shipping on all Australian orders (and international orders to most countries over $200) applies to standard print sizes and designs only, as shown on the website. Custom orders not included.
